Founded in 1987, Tullo Marshall Warren is still actively managed by the three founders, Paul Tullo,the creative director, Richard Marshall, the new-business director, and Chris Warren, the managing director. The business has grown from five staff to the largest independent direct marketing agency in Europe. With 180 full-time staff at its King's Road offices, TMW boasts a blue-chip client list that includes Diageo, Lloyds TSB, British Airways, Nissan, Tesco, Unilever, GNER, EST and T-Mobile.
Company culture and style
Despite its speed of growth, the agency retains a small-company, family atmosphere. This is illustrated by the thriving social scene and the length of service of many staff.
The agency is based in modern offices on the highly fashionable King's Road. While local shops and bars offer constant lunchtime temptations, the agency offers corporate membership of the local Chelsea Gym, as well as agency football, softball and touch rugby teams through most of the year to keep you in shape. The graduate scheme
Applications should be made in early summer via the Institute of Direct Marketing. TMW sponsors the IDM Student Direct Marketing Competition.

In addition to encouraging graduates to take the IDM Diploma, company-specific courses are run throughout the year using internal resource and external trainers.
Pay and benefits
TMW's salary bands reflect the industry standard. Benefits and incentives are awarded as appropriate. Employee progress is monitored via a full annual review covering set criteria for each individual department, encouraging feedback from around the agency, combined with regular interim feedback sessions. Private healthcare is available for senior staff. All staff are given an extra day's holiday on their birthday. A general bonus scheme operates.
Those staff members willing to go the extra mile will be rewarded accordingly.
With agency growth offering frequent progression opportunities, staff turnover is low - indeed many people have worked at TMW for more than five years, some for more than ten.
