It is believed the three incumbents, Newcastle-based Martin Tait

Redheads, WWAV Rapp Collins Scotland and MediaVision, were invited to

pitch, along with JWT Manchester, Faulds and Yellow M.

The pitches took place last week and include creative and media. A

result is expected shortly as the chosen agency will be briefed on the

summer 1999 campaign, which starts at the end of August.

Carlson, which owns Radisson Hotels, Caledonian Airways and tour firm

First Choice, established Worldchoice after rebranding the travel agents

AT Mays and ARTAC at the end of last year, following a buyout eight

years ago. Each Worldchoice outlet is independently owned, but the brand

identity is shared.
