Caspian Publishing is thought to have landed a much sought-after
contract to produce a quarterly customer magazine for Microsoft.
The title will have a 500,000 distribution to board directors of British
companies and will cover major issues affecting the internet, e-commerce
and knowledge management.
Mike Bokaie, Caspian’s chief executive, declined to comment on the
contract.
Caspian has two other titles in the pipeline and is looking for ad sales
staff to sell across all its new products.
A magazine for CBI members, Business Voice, will be launched at the end
of this month at a CBI conference in Birmingham to be attended by Prime
Minister Tony Blair. It will go to 30,000 directors and the 100-page
first issue will carry more than 50 pages of ads sold by Mongoose.
Real Deals, aimed at the venture capital industry, launched last month
with a 10,000 controlled circulation.
The next issue of Real Business will have a bumper 100 pages with 50
pages of ads. The 42,000 ABC title is aimed at directors of small- to
medium-sized businesses.
