CDP's Mahoney and Amadeo hire Lowe's Falco as head of TV

CDP's new creative directors, Andy Amadeo and Mick Mahoney, have

made their first key hiring, poaching Anthony Falco from Lowe Lintas,

the agency they quit to join CDP earlier this year.

Falco, who becomes the head of TV, was at Lowe for three years, before

which he ran his own creative services company. He comes with a brief to

raise the standard of CDP's TV campaigns and will work with two other


'Creatively, it is a challenge, but Mick and Andy have marked the start

of a new age for CDP,' Falco admitted. 'I couldn't resist the

opportunity to work with them again, and will go to the greatest lengths

to produce great work using the best talent.'

He said Lowe had been 'surprised and sad' to hear of his departure so

soon after Mahoney and Amadeo had departed from the agency.

Mahoney said: 'Anthony is one of the best TV producers we've ever worked

with, and we're delighted that he has chosen to join us at CDP.'
