The Sunday Telegraph is launching a TV drive to support the launch of a partworks series featuring the celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay.
The work, created by J. Walter Thompson with media bought by MindShare, breaks on 3 December and will run alongside the partworks publication Christmas Food & Drink with Gordon Ramsay, which will be published for three weeks. The 24-page, glossy A4 supplements will be the first of a series of partworks to run next year.
The TV ads show a Christmas family scene, where the diners are unenthralled by the massive roast turkey on the table. The voiceover says: 'This Christmas you could have turkey ... Or you could have Ramsay.' The camera cuts to Ramsay frenetically preparing different dishes.
The final scene is a more stylish Christmas table setting, with the endline: 'Only in The Sunday Telegraph.'
The campaign was art directed by Andy Smith and copywritten by Ryan Lawson at JWT, and directed by Beverley Thornton.
