Chambord revives Chapter Eight Games event

French liqueur brand Chambord is once again hosting its pop-up event and flamingo croquet lawn, coined Chapter Eight Games.

The event is taking place from 1-4 September at Dalston Roof Park, with Chambord promising that guests 'will live a little bit French in our curious world of Chambord surprises and delights'.

Visitors will be encouraged to seize flamingo croquet mallets, inspired by the eighth chapter of Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland and hit, roll and dance their way around a grander and crazier croquet lawn than the ones that have appeared at previous activations.

Tickets to the event will include a game of croquet as well as a complimentary Chambord Royale. A Chambord Black Raspberry liqueur bar will serve cocktails, including the Chambord Royale and the specially created Chapter Eight Cocktail.

Food will also be on offer, including French-American burgers with a twist from Le Bun and Chambord Royale Crones from Dum Dum Donutterie.

Chambord hosted its Chapter Eight Games last year at roof terrace venue Proof atop of the Hothouse Building. It also devised Cake for Dinner, a one-night event that combines immersive theatre with a unique dining experience.
