Taking place on Saturday (30 August), the event has been dubbed ‘ultimate poolside party’. Vintage-style waitresses will be delivering glasses of Chandon alongside ice-cream sandwiches and toasties.

Entertainment will include sets from DJs and pool volleyball matches, as well as performances from synchronised swimmer group, Aquabatix.

Katie Fried, director of Aquabatix, told Event its appearance will feature two different routines throughout the night. "We were contacted by Mission initially and have had a couple of weeks to work on our routines," she said.

"I think Aquabatix is the perfect fit for the 1950s theme. It would be great to work with Chandon again – they seem happy to be working with us and we’re really happy to be working with them."

Tickets for the event, which will include a free drink and Chandon gift bag, have sold out online, however a small allocation of tickets will be available on the door. The pool will be open for swimming between 4pm and 5.30pm, with the party continuing until 10pm.
