CHBi Razorfish and Sunbather merge

The acquisition sees CHBi Razorfish grow from 33 to 45 staff, making it one of London's largest new media agencies. The enlarged company will move into new offices in December and will be known simply as Razorfish.

Sunbather, which was founded in 1995, counts BT, EMI and Shell among its clients. Most recently, Sunbather has been involved in interactive TV trials and has worked with BT and with Microsoft and the BBC on WebTV trials the two have been running.

Mike Beeston, managing director of CHBi Razorfish, comments: "When the CHBi Razorfish partnership was announced earlier in the year I hinted that we were keen to acquire the best talent around. Sunbather and CHBi Razorfish share a similar vision and I am delighted that this group of highly talented designers has decided to join us.
