CHI poaches TBWA's Enyi Nwosu

LONDON -- CHI & Partners has poached the TBWA\Connections director, Enyi Nwosu, to help drive changes to its planning structure.

Nwosu becomes a partner at the agency and will team up with Tim Alnutt, the former managing partner at CHI's Naked Inside joint venture. The pair formerly worked together at Lowe London.
Together, they will attempt to restructure the CHI planning department to merge communications and account planning as one discipline following the integration of Naked Inside last month. Naked Inside was folded into the main agency last month. Allnutt said: "Today, there's no place for silo thinking so our task is to bring communications planning even closer to the account planning discipline so that it's impossible to see the join. We call this new approach ‘ideas planning'."
Nwosu added: "I'm joining the agency at the best possible time. Everyone here is talking about the next five years here, no-one's looking backwards. Teaming up with Tim again and being made a partner was just irresistible."
Nwosu and Allnutt will also work with WPP's Group M, the media agency that will provide CHI's full-service media planning and buying offering to clients. Last month, CHI sold a 49 per cent stake to WPP for an estimated £30 million.
The CHI founding partner, Johnny Hornby, said: ""Enyi is a fantastic talent and a fantastic character. To have him and Tim working together at the heart of our ‘ideas planning' is very exciting."
