One in five people employed in the capital still do not earn a wage they can live on.
To address this problem, the City of London Corporation is encouraging more City financial and professional services companies to pay the London Living Wage of £10.55 per hour. For two weeks, a poster campaign by Creature is taking over the London Underground at nine of the busiest Tube stations, including Liverpool Street, Euston, Victoria and Paddington. So far, more than 100 City businesses have signed up to pay the rate and be a Living Wage accredited employer. The work was created by Megan Egan and Poppy Cumming-Spain.
