The final newspaper circulation figures for March, from the Audit

Bureau of Circulations, show the Daily Express posting a figure of 974,

714; a decrease of 6.8 per cent year on year but an increase from

February's 950,523. The final figure includes four doordrops performed

during the month. The Daily Express's mid-market rival, The Daily Mail

posted a 1.1 per cent year-on-year increase to 2,403,754. The Daily Star

posted a 10.5 per cent year-on-year increase to 569,883. The Daily

Telegraph dropped 1.8 per cent to 1,019,290, while The Times saw

circulation fall by 0.8 per cent to 715,079.
