its agreement to publish its high-profile monthly magazine.

The contract has instead been awarded to Haymarket Magazines. Haymarket,

which publishes Campaign as well as customer titles for the British

Tourist Authority and for Liverpool FC, will take over the contract to

publish the magazine in November.

Classic FM magazine, which was launched in February 1995, has an ABC of

38,322 with a total monthly readership of 223,000. Under the terms of

the deal, cross-promotion opportunities with Gramophone, which Haymarket

acquired last year and which has an ABC of 50,320, are in development.
