In his new role Roberts will work in partnership with new and existing customers on Clear Channel's digital offering and will be charged with looking into new multi-platform opportunities.

Roberts joined Clear Channel UK in May 2007 as sales controller for Pinnacle from CBS Outdoor where he was digital trading director. Prior to CBS he was sales manager at Van Wagner, which was bought by Clear Channel in 2006.

Earlier in his career Roberts was head of agency sales at national radio station TalkSport and group head at the ITV sales house TSMS.

Steve Atkinson, group sales director at Clear Channel UK, said: "I am delighted after undertaking a wide-range of senior roles at Clear Channel Cennydd is able to draw on his extensive digital experience and passion for emerging platforms in this new role."

Weston will work alongside fellow sales controller Simon Wardell and will be responsible for driving the sales performance of client, agency and specialist teams for Posterscope and its agencies. He will report to Atkinson.

Weston left JCDecaux in May to take the summer off and pursue other opportunities. He joined JCDecaux in January 2010 following its purchase of Titan Outdoor, where he was national sales director. He took the same role at JCDecaux in June 2010.

Prior to being promoted to national sales director at Titan Outdoor in October 2008, following the departure of Stephen Dunn, Weston was director of specialist sales from March 2007. At Titan's predecessor Maiden Outdoor Weston was head of trading from 2005.

Atkinson said: "I am proud that we have been able to replace Cennydd with someone of Ged's talent and experience within the out-of-home industry. Both appointments are testament to the great culture at Clear Channel and our ambitious plans."
