- CNN International is aiming to maximise its international brand by launching a quarterly, travel-orientated magazine.
CNN Traveller, which launches next week, is designed to appeal to business travellers and frequent flyers and will feature celebrity-written articles and as well as exotic and urban travel destinations.
As well as being distributed to business class lounges in airports and in business class on board Eurostar trains, CNN Traveller will also be distributed to the executive rooms and suites of the 3,000 CNN Partner Hotels worldwide.
A travel-themed interview from a CNN correspondent is also planned for every issue, with Beirut bureau chief, Brent Sadler, writing about his experiences of life on the road in the first issue. The launch issue also features an account by Sir Ranulph Fiennes of his travels through Salalah, in the Arabian country of Dhofar, and a selection of travel-related fashion and personality interviews.
Advertisers for the first issue include British Airways, Chanel, Tiffany & Co, Stolichnaya and Mont Blanc.
