The brand replaces last year’s sponsor Morrisons, which partnered with Capital’s parent company Global in order to strengthen its position with families.

Coca-Cola is providing music fans with early access to tickets through its Facebook and Twitter channels. The brand has a total of 2,000 general admission tickets to give away the day before the sale officially opens on 6 November.

Jason Derulo was yesterday (2 November) announced as the first act confirmed for the first night of the event, while Little Mix also announced they would be performing with an on-air reveal on the Coca-Cola London Eye this morning (3 November).

More than 30,000 guests are expected to attend Capital’s branded music event. The Jingle Bell Ball is now in its eighth year.

Ashley Tabor, founder and executive president of Global, said: "Over the next four days the line-up is set to get much, much bigger as we help Capital listeners get closer to the stars this Christmas. I can’t wait to see the response from the fans as we reveal the other huge acts who will help to make Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball with Coca-Cola the biggest music event this season."

Yesterday saw Coca-Cola announce the tour schedule of its iconic Christmas truck.
