Coca-Cola is one of the world's most storied brands and, when it plays to this strength, you can't help but be charmed.
The new UK ad, by Ogilvy & Mather Amsterdam, is a fine example. It features dancing Coke cans from the 90s and century-old posters – with a snappy track, Honeytrap by We Have Band, to boot. It suits the cynical UK palate much better than the poem about happiness that launched the campaign in May. The work was created by Jesse Ridder, Rob Voortman and Jurriaan van Bokhoven, and directed by Arnaud Uyttenhove through Caviar.
