As part of its established 'Holidays Are Coming' campaign, Coca-Cola has revealed a winter wonderland-themed live experience as part of its nationwide Christmas truck tour.

Launching on 28 November in Elgin, Scotland, the branded festive vehicle will travel throughout the UK up until 23 December, where it will stop off at its final destination, Wembley in London.

The activity, which reflects Coca-Cola’s Christmas television advertising, will give fans the opportunity to take part in a unique experience by getting up close and personal to the famous vehicle. On each stop, people will have the chance to take pictures with the truck as it lights up, whilst enjoying a snowy winter wonderland setting and a bottle of Coca-Cola or Diet Coke as a choir sings Christmas hits.

The tour is being overseen by experiential agency Square Melon, with Coca-Cola's in-house team and other agencies providing support.

Bobby Brittain, GB marketing strategy and activation director for Coca-Cola, said: "Every year the support for our ‘Holidays Are Coming’ advert enables us to deliver a truly exceptional experience to people across the UK. This year is no exception.

"As we help celebrate the lead up to Christmas, we’re looking forward to being able to give a little happiness to people around the UK."

In 2013, Coca-Cola’s Truck Tour website received nearly two million hits, while 200,000 people appeared in the photos taken from the visits and throughout the Christmas campaign. The #HolidaysAreComing hashtag was shared 57 million times.
