COI calls pitch for RAF online recruitment assignments

COI is reviewing the Royal Air Force online advertising account, which is currently held by Dialogue DLKW.

Delaney Lund Knox Warren & Partners has handled above-the-line for the RAF for three years and Dialogue DLKW has worked on online projects as an extension of this relationship. Now the RAF is to appoint a digital agency.

COI confirmed the review: "The RAF will be holding a pitch next week for an agency to manage its online ad requirements for recruitment."

The review coincides with a decision by DLKW to fold Dialogue DLKW back into the main agency (Campaign, 13 April). It is thought that DLKW will pitch for the digital work with other agencies on COI's digital roster.

Campaigns by DLKW have focused on increasing the quality of people seeking a career in the RAF. The most recent work created by DLKW and Dialogue DLKW uses the strapline "You don't have to be a pilot to fly in the RAF", and highlights the diversity of careers available in the RAF.

Online media is planned and bought by i-level, which is not affected by the review.
