Cold Feet back as ITV3 unveils drama and repeat line-up

LONDON – ITV3, the network's new digital channel aimed at the 35-plus market, will incorporate popular drama such as 'Cold Feet' and films like 'A Fish Called Wanda' with themed nights and repeats from ITV1.

The free-to-air channel, which will launch on November 1, will include UK comedy drama reruns of 'Cold Feet', crime dramas 'Inspector Morse', 'Midsomer Murders' and 'Prime Suspect', with US shows 'Crossing Jordan' and 'LA Dragnet' also running.

Viewers watching an episode of certain dramas on ITV1 will be able to switch straight to the next episode on ITV3. This format has worked well for ITV2, which regularly secures viewers off the back of popular ITV1 shows like 'I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!' with its 'I'm a Celebrity... Extra' shows.

Themed evenings will be another highlight of the schedule and will focus on events, anniversaries and characters, including a 'Poirot'-themed night.

A selection of films to be offered include 'Rainman', 'The Color of Money' and 'A Fish Called Wanda'.

Soaps are also to play a prominent role on ITV3 with repeats of soaps and 'Coronation Street' and 'Emmerdale'.

The channel will air as a free service on Freeview, Freesat and cable from November 1.
