Concord swoops to land Nestle Ireland’s outdoor account

Outdoor advertising specialist Concord has landed the pounds 2 million planning and buying account for all Nestle Ireland’s outdoor business.

Outdoor advertising specialist Concord has landed the pounds 2

million planning and buying account for all Nestle Ireland’s outdoor

business.

Concord, which handles all the outdoor buying for Nestle in the UK,

started work for the confectionery giant in Ireland on 1 January.

The account was previously held for more than 10 years by Poster Plan,

which is part of the Portland Group. Concord pitched against Poster Plan

by bringing in PML, Ireland’s leading outdoor specialist.

Ron Raisey, the Concord director who spearheaded the pitch, said: ’We

are delighted to centralise Nestle’s UK and Irish accounts. The ability

of Concord to provide great strategic planning combined with PML’s local

buying knowledge was the key reason for the win.’

Raisey added: ’This win strengthens our 18-year partnership with PML.’
