Corona Extra throws punches in first dual-language spots

Ad from The Community runs in both English- and Spanish-speaking markets

A new spot for Corona Extra from multicultural agency The Community is the beer brand’s first ad created for both the English- and Spanish-language markets. The campaign is a partnership with Premier Boxing Champions, a television series that debuted last year aimed at expanding the reach of boxing beyond pay-per-view and premium cable channels. Set to Otis Redding’s "Hard to Handle," the ad shows fans connecting with athletes onscreen and in the ring as gloves connect with bodies. The ad includes cameos by pro boxers Deontay Wilder, Danny Garcia and Leo Santa Cruz and will run on multiple broadcast and cable channels, as well as online and on radio.
