
The move marks the first time that the company, which owns brands including Calvin Klein, Rimmel and Cerruti, has consolidated its media business on a global scale.
Currently, Coty works with agencies on a market-by-market basis. In the UK, the incumbent on the business is OMD, after the agency retained the account in March following a pitch.
Before the announcement of a global review, Coty was in the process of conducting a series of local market reviews.
In June, the company called a pitch for its £70 million US media planning and buying account. It is also reviewing the local account in France, the country in which the company was founded.
