Craik Jones pushes Range Rover with mansion invite

LONDON - Land Rover is inviting prospects to test drive the new Range Rover at a country mansion to generate sales.

Craik Jones Watson Mitchell Voelkel has designed a mail pack inviting dealer nominees to spend the day practising their archery and clay-pigeon shooting at one of seven country houses.

The guests will also be treated to dinner, after which they will be invited to put a Range Rover through its paces both on and offroad.

The mailing includes an invitation in the style of an invite to an aristocratic shooting weekend and a coffee-table book with illustrations of a country house, the activities and the new Range Rover.

The mailing was written and art directed by Craik Jones' joint creative heads, David Brown and Mark Buckingham, and the brochure's illustrations were by Brian Grimwood.
