McGee, who quit Creation last week, has joined up with the likes of Julian Richer, of Richer Sounds hi-fi chain, Richard Branson, Bob Geldof and Matthew Freud, to invest in the internet service set up by Robert Devereux, the former chairman of Virgin Entertainment Group.
