Creative Mentor Network has enlisted the help of adland leaders for an ego-boosting hotline.
On a mission to create career opportunities for young people in the creative industry, Creative Mentor Network is giving frustrated innovators a much-needed pat on the back with its '90s-inspired chat-line campaign, "Hot praise hotline" – and no, it’s not a joke. For just £3.60 per minute (plus standard call rates), creatives can now receive the validation they’ve always wanted in a form of automated non sequiturs by some of the biggest names in advertising, including Droga5 London's David Kolbusz, Uncommon's Nils Leonard, Leo Burnett's Chaka Sobhani and Grey London's Vicki Maguire. Featuring soft jazz, impractical leather furniture and a criminal overuse of the crimping iron, the tongue-in-cheek hotline is open 24/7 with a large sum of proceeds going to the Creative Mentor Network. Ending with promises of "adult content", the grainy ad was directed by Daniel Warwick through Biscuit.
