D’Arcy looks set to triumph at the Account Planning Group creative
planning awards this year, with five entries on the 26-strong
shortlist.
D’Arcy’s entries on the shortlist of candidates are spread across four
separate categories: McCain Foods in the broadcast category; Fiat
Seicento for multimedia; DfEE reading and DfEE disability in public
service/charity/government and Mars Maltesers in the refreshed campaign
category.
M&C Saatchi has also done well, with three entries, all in the refreshed
category, for Whiskas, British Airways and Foster’s. Also scoring three
was BMP DDB, for British Gas, Sony Stamina batteries and London
Transport.
The shortlist was put together by a eight-strong panel, chaired by
Ogilvy & Mather’s planning director, Janet Grimes. A final jury will
select the winners in a series of presentations on 28 and 29
October.
There were 108 entries in all for the awards, which are held biennially.
