Delaney Lund Knox Warren & Partners has hired Charlie Snow from

D’Arcy to be its planning director.

Snow, who takes up his new job at the beginning of September, was a

senior planner at D’Arcy.

Until now, Richard Warren, a founding partner at DLKW, has filled the

planning director role. He now becomes the director of strategy.

D’Arcy is the only advertising agency Snow has worked for. He joined six

years ago having worked as an actor before working in market

research.

He hit the headlines last year when he won the Grand Prix at the APG

awards for his work on literacy for the DfEE. The campaign showed

parents encouraging children to read using everyday items such as train

tickets and menus. The other main account he worked on was the

Littlewoods Pools.

Snow said he is not leaving because of any dissatisfaction with D’Arcy:

’I felt it was time to take responsibility and go up a level, run a

department.’ He will now oversee a team of five.

He added that he was also very keen to work with Gary Betts and Malcolm

Green, DLKW’s creative partners.

Warren added: ’Having won some good business recently, we are now able

to invest in talent. He is one of the best planners in London.’
