Dare wins New Look social media brief

LONDON - Dare has been appointed by the high-street fashion chain New Look as its retained social media agency.

The agency, which won the account after a five-way pitch, has been briefed to develop the retailer's social media strategy and devise a campaign that engages with blogging communities and social network users.

Its first task will be to work on the launch of the store's autumn/winter range, which will be modelled by the Girls Aloud star Kimberly Walsh.

Dare's social media campaigns will seek to increase online awareness of New Look and, ultimately, drive click-through traffic to the retailer's online store.

The appointment comes shortly after New Look hired the digital content specialist Zone to produce an online interactive TV show.
