James is a man on a mission. His drive to build BT into a credible sports broadcaster from scratch continues to pay off, with the brand now boasting more than 5m viewers and collecting a clutch of awards on the back of its growth. At this year’s Marketing Society Excellence Awards, BT Sport won in the Brand Extension and Brand Revitalisation categories, while James was named runner-up in the Senior Marketing Leader category. BT TV now has more than 1m customers and, says James, he’s only "getting started".
