DDB is tying up with the Omnicom-owned healthcare agency Leavold Pollard Bardsley Advertising, which is part of the DAS network, to create the new agency.
The agency launches with a client list including Philips Sonicare, Johnson & Johnson and Boeringer Ingelheim.
DDB Health UK will work independently of DDB London and will be headed by Catherine Bardsley, LPB's managing director, and Orrin Pollard, its creative director. They will report to Jonathan Hoare, DDB Health's international managing director.
Bardsley said: "DDB Health sets itself apart from other healthcare agencies through its ability to combine the expertise and excellence of DDB creativity with healthcare and pharmaceutical knowledge."
