De-construct wins Panasonic account

De-construct, the new-media agency formed by ex-Deepend staff, has been appointed the lead digital agency for Panasonic across Europe.

The agency has been working with Panasonic in an unofficial capacity

since the electronics manufacturer's previous incumbent, Deepend, folded

in September this year.

Deepend launched a European portal for Panasonic earlier this year

(www.panasonic-europe.com), which is now being overseen by

De-construct.

Paul Williams, the manager of Panasonic Europe Advertising Group, said:

"We in Panasonic can confidently transfer our pan-European web-related

business to De-construct. I hope that this will be the beginning of a

long-term relationship encompassing both digital design and

strategy."

Dan Douglas, business development director at De-construct, said: "We've

had work in progress from other clients as a legacy from Deepend, but we

now win clients on the strength of our own credentials."
