Deepend names new creative and design directors

– New media consultancy Deepend has named Andrew Leith as creative director of the London agency.

Leith will work alongside Simon Waterfall the current creative director of Deepend. His promotion is one of several key appointments which reflect the agency's rapid growth. Fred Flade has been named design director and Iti Sakharet will take over as creative director New York when Deepend's sister company launches there later this year.

David 'Gravy' Streek, founding partner, said: "Iti, Fred and Andrew have been instrumental in building and maintaining Deepend London's culture and quality of work. We feel this move is recognition of the roles that they already perform, and of the responsibilities that are to come."

According to Waterfall: "Their experience and skill have undoubtedly helped move Deepend forward to the position that we are now in: the top creative media agency in the UK. Their process of working remains a model to all of Deepend's crew."
