Sixty per cent of road fatalities happen on country roads, according to the Department for Transport, which has released a campaign urging people to slow down before taking corners. Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO created the ad, which is part of DfT’s "Think!" campaign. The ad uses scanning technology to give viewers a map-like view of the road that enables them to see the imminent danger ahead of a reckless driver. The ad will run in cinemas and on video-on-demand channels.
