- The UK's favourite television sports presenter is set to appear in his third ad campaign in the last year as he lines up for Sola Optical.
Sola, one of the world's largest ophthalmic lens manufacturers, is to use Des Lynam to promote its ranges of added value lenses.
The campaign, developed by Sola's agency, Noble Cooney & Bains, is for Sola's range of Transitions lenses - light - reactive lenses that go dark outside.
The ad features Lynam as six different characters, three representing the lenses in their clear state and three in their darkened state.
The campaign will run throughout the summer and includes a promotion for Thomas Cook holiday vouchers winnable by consumers and opticians alike.
Lynam has in the last year appeared in ad campaigns for the deodorant Right Guard and plant food Miracle Grow.
