Delaney Fletcher Bozell has made two senior hirings with the
appointments of Simon Binns as a board account director and Helen
Weisinger as its business development director.
Binns, 31, who leaves Ogilvy & Mather after seven years, will be
responsible for running the Chrysler account at his new agency.
Meanwhile Weisinger, 27, who joins from RPM3, will work closely with
Paul Cowan, Delaney Fletcher’s client services director, in his
additional role as marketing director.
Cowan, who is charged with building the Delaney Fletcher brand
internally and externally, said: ’The arrival of Simon and Helen will
help us to redefine our vision of Delaney Fletcher Bozell both
internally and externally. We are continuing to build on the pool of
talent we have been acquiring over the past 12 months, which will allow
us to frame and develop the agency’s core strengths.’
Binns said: ’New year should be an exciting time. I have inherited some
great creative work on Chrysler. There is a great mix of energy and
creative pedigree at Delaney Fletcher Bozell.’
Binns joined O&M as a graduate trainee in 1991. He worked on Ford,
launching the Ka in the UK in 1996, and also on Bupa where he ran the
’you’re amazing’ campaign.
Weisinger ran the Mitsubishi account at RPM3. Before that, she worked on
the Delta Air Lines business at Saatchi & Saatchi New York. She has also
worked at Saatchis in Dubai, having started in 1989 in media.
