Diary: Adland's dildo and gang bang shame exposed

Diary is already breathing heavily in anticipation after Fiver's announcement that it has commissioned a six-part series called The Sexy Ad Show featuring "the raciest, most politically incorrect and barely broadcastable ads to have emerged from adland".

Indeed, Celador Productions, the company producing the extravaganza, predicts it will "take TV commercials to a new level of rudeness never before seen on British TV".

Among the promised delights? An ejaculating Action Man, an optician who uses sadomasochistic sex to sell spectacles and a granny using a dildo to advertise a bank.

Oh yes, there's also a beer ad featuring family members who blow each other up and a canine gang bang, which is meant to encourage viewers to take a holiday.

"The series is very risque and funny and perfectly illustrates the unconventional views of the advertising world," Hannah Barnes, the director of programmes for Fiver and Five US, declares.

Before the Advertising Standards Authority reaches for the Prozac, Fiver promises the show is slated for a late-night slot.
