There's nothing more British than supping a nice pint of ale down the local pub, and the renowned ad photographer Graham Cornthwaite captured such a moment in his winning entry to the "Pub Life" photography contest, organised by the British Beer and Pub Association. The pic, used in a recent Theakston ad campaign, featured Ron Usher, a retired gamekeeper, drinking in his local Yorkshire pub. The snapper recalls: "Over a lovely pub lunch, I shot three rolls, he drank five pints (he loved his Theakston). Then, when I asked him the directions in order to drive him home, he lent on is stick, looked at me with his one good eye and said: 'Does tha want me to drive?'"
