Diary: Best ad jingles revealed

Arguably looking a good deal cooler than BETC's band, Weapon7 triumphed at adland's battle of the bands, which took place at the 299 Club in London recently.

The digital agency's band, Provenance of Squid, saw off competition from the rock gods at Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO and Saatchi & Saatchi. Their set included Duran Duran's Hungry Like The Wolf and the Kate Bush classic Wuthering Heights. The creative director Jeremy Garner's drumming was so enthusiastic, he left the cymbals splattered with his own blood.
