Diary loves of bit of nostalgia. But, thanks to Mad Men mania, we've had our fill of the 60s. So we're taking a step back to the 30s with a new exhibition of art once owned by Shell Oil's publicity director Jack Beddington. It includes work by JS Anderson, who was responsible for the iconic Shell ad campaigns of that era, and features the painting pictured above. Organisers, however, are unsure which campaign it's from. If there are any ad anoraks out there who can help, please get in touch. The exhibition is at the BADA Fair in Duke of York Square, Chelsea, from 23 to 29 March.
