Diary: A case of water torture

The hot weather seems to have proved too much for Agency Assessments' senior consultant Will Hamilton, who was pictured in the Henley Standard taking a dip in the River Thames at 4am.

Hamilton's plunge was, in fact, nothing to do with heat-exhaustion or even a boozy night out. Instead, he swam on a mile-long regatta course for charity. However, instead of choosing the modest wetsuit for the swim, Hamilton opted for nothing but a pair of Speedos and handful of Vaseline. His freezing-cold dip did pay off, though, as he raised lots of cash.
