DIARY: Curtis' Gold wins Mini but Hall doesn't bawl

In uncharacteristically expansive mood, we extend our warm congratulations to Andy Hall, a marketing executive at Metro, who was the winner of a year's free subscription to Campaign (worth £125) at Capital Radio Group's Century FM party.

While we are sure that Hall is quite rightly delighted with his prize, we feel that it is only fair to also pass our best wishes to MediaCom's media manager, Tom Curtis, who won a Mini Cooper at the same event.

You might think that there is no comparison between the two prizes but all Hall had to do was put his business card into a box, while Curtis had to perform a camp rendition of Spandau Ballet's Gold in front of his peers. We know which one we'd prefer to do.
