DIARY: Dolan flies the flag for industry bravado with kamikaze-style stunt

There was lots of big air (or should that be hot air) at the Daily

Mail ski show when a liberal sprinkling of industry enthusiasts turned

up on Tuesday to marvel at crazy antics and participate in a charity

While various lunatics practiced their 740 degree tail grabs on the ski

ramp, everyone got into the charitable swing of things - er, except

MediaVest's Jim Marshall, who contributed £3 to the raffle, while

everyone else donated a tenner. Rumbled.

Admiration was high for Jill Dolan of Media Link, who climbed into a

tiny air-filled ball, called a Nissan zorb, and hurled herself down the

ski ramp. "I could hear her screams all the way down," Guy Zitter, the

managing director of the Daily Mail, titters. Although he admits he

couldn't have done it himself. "With the size of my arse I don't think

I'd fit in," he laughs.

A charity auction finished off the fun, with the top prize, worth £2,500, going for a relative song at £800. Bargain.
