DIARY: EVENING OUT WITH ... TAXI MEDIA - Lexie Goddard lives it up with the label-loving ladies

6.30pm The K Bar The folks from Taxi Media want to meet us at the Soho bar but we arrive to find it doesn’t open until 9.30pm. The ’laddish’ sales team is nowhere to be seen. We retire to nearby boozer the Star and Garter to wait.

Soho bar but we arrive to find it doesn’t open until 9.30pm. The

’laddish’ sales team is nowhere to be seen. We retire to nearby boozer

the Star and Garter to wait.

7.15pm Star and Garter Our editor splutters into his pint as six

high-heeled, lip-glossed babes (plus one henpecked fella, Phonesites’

deputy sales manager, Matt Wiltshire) burst through the door. The girls

down G ’n’ Ts while Matt strains to watch the footie. ’The girls rule

the roost,’ he grumbles.

The chicas discuss Prada, bums (whose is biggest) blokes (which ones are

tasty) and hair (whose style is the coolest).

8.00pm Tiger Tiger The Taxi Media girls demolish three jugs of Long

Island Iced Tea in as many minutes and start harassing the waiter.

’Don’t worry, they talk a good game but they’ll want to go home by

11pm,’ whispers Matt.

Meanwhile, the chat has returned to Prada. ’The other day I accidentally

kicked off my shoe and it hit a tramp,’ says label-loving sales manager

Rhian James (aka Posh).

’I thought I’d hurt him but once I saw he was OK, I screamed: ’Don’t

touch it, it’s Prada!’’

11pm The girls go home.
