Diary: Fame and fortune can't quell rivalry in CHI camp

Next week will see one of those wonderful scenarios played out, where an agency's dirty laundry is aired in public for all to see.

On Wednesday, 16 May, anyone watching The Apprentice will get to enjoy the fruits of the fierce rivalry between Clemmow Hornby Inge's Nick Howarth and Johnny Hornby, as they go head-to-head in a bid to avoid Sir Alan Sugar's devastating pointed finger.

According to agency sources, the multimillion-pound windfall received by the agency following its recent acquisition by WPP was totally forgotten as soon as the BBC cameras entered the building to film the episode.

The gloves came off and competitive faces were worn as the pair both took on the role as mentor for the two teams - putting them in direct competition with each other.

Obviously, Diary would not be so harsh as to spoil the ending for you. But we're reliably informed that no quarter was given and no holds were barred as the contest reached boiling point.
