DIARY: A Ferrari is the fastest until you lose the keys

It's all very well owning a red Ferrari, but the trouble comes if

you lose the keys, as Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO's chief executive,

Michael Baulk, found.



When he rose from a dinner last week, the keys to his shiny pride and

joy were nowhere to be found. After half-an-hour on hands and knees,

Baulk admitted defeat.



Which of his minions would have the bare-faced affront to nick his

keys?



After being calmed by the unflappable managing director, Cilla Snowball,

Baulk went back to the agency to pick up the spare set .



The culprit? AMV's executive creative director, Peter Souter, who'd

absent-mindedly picked up the keys when leaving. Ooops.
