Diary: Glue designer is F1 star

Back to some real sport and with the first race of the season just weeks away now, it's time for Formula One fans to get their fix. And one man who's probably more excited than most is Glue Isobar's Raphael Campos.

The agency's design director entered a competition run last year by Team Lotus, which challenged people to design a new livery for its car. Campos' entry - a black-and-gold affair that took inspiration from Emerson Fittipaldi's classic 1972 championship-winning car - emerged victorious, and his design will feature on a show-car that will be with Team Lotus throughout the 2011 F1 season.

As a reward for his efforts, Campos also had the honour of attending Lotus' winter testing session in Barcelona, where he presented his work to the team.

Diary can't even begin to describe just how jealous it is.
