Diary: Gold and Golding enjoy final nights of freedom

It's still undecided whether Campaign or some lesser gossip title will land the exclusive rights to CHI's Sarah Gold and Adam & Eve's David Golding's wedding later this year.

But, here at Campaign Towers, we've got the scoop on arguably the most important part of the "getting married" ritual: the X-rated hen and stag parties.

It was more X-Factor than X-rated in Gold's case though. She and her gaggle of pals headed down to Babington House in Somerset for the weekend to kick back in the spa and sip on cocktails.

And, naturally, as the sun went down on Saturday night, Gold, a die-hard Britain's Got Talent fan, guided the party up to her room to watch the show in their dressing gowns. Meanwhile, back in London, Golding was watching another type of talent do their stuff at Stringfellows.

Not usually one to frequent gentlemen's clubs, Golding, who can't bear people touching him, thought he was ending the night with a mic in his hand at Lucky Voice.

Instead, he spent the evening sitting on his hands as his mates bought him dance after dance after dance.
