Present at the party were some 80 agency brown-nosers (sorry, some 80 of her dearest and closest friends) hosted at none other than ... the IPA headquarters.
Readers will remember Fisher's contretemps with Bruce Haines, the IPA president, when her response to Haines' attack on cheapskate clients at the ISBA conference in March saw her virtually accusing leading agencies of not recognising a decent integrated idea if it bit their well-tailored arses.
While this went down like a cup of cold sick in some quarters, all was forgiven last week when Haines hosted the bash. La Fisher treated the occasion with due respect by delivering her valediction wearing a cardboard gold tiara.
