Diary: It's a golden opportunity for M&C's chief to party

It's good to see that floating on AIM hasn't deterred the senior management at M&C Saatchi from splashing their cash on a big, fancy all-agency party in an extremely posh, foreign location.

Last week, the agency held a bash for all of its group companies (320 UK staff in all) in a palace in the Chantilly region, outside of Paris.

In keeping with the surroundings, the theme chosen was a "masquerade ball", like the ones French aristocrats would have thrown before they had their heads lopped off.

Diary is also happy to reveal that the man pictured above, wearing the fetching, yet slightly camp, gold mask is none other than M&C's chairman - and agency roustabout - Moray MacLennan.
