DIARY: It's 'goodbye Goldson' as Radio Star rolls on

Having made it through the many hopefuls, it's now the turn of Chris Goldson to get the untimely chop from the Radio Advertising Bureau's Radio Star competition.

As predicted in last week's Diary, Goldson is the next to be voted off by those wielding the power in the click of their mice at the website radio-star.biz, getting a whopping 60 per cent of the votes.

Goldson's show was to be called That Morning Thing, and would have been an early morning weekend show on a new radio station for London, Pulse FM. In his intro he waxed: "It's a cheeky mixture of music and comedy - pretty fast-paced, so we won't be slowing down for the horses." But unfortunately for Goldson, his nags haven't made it past the starting line.

And then there were three. Yes, the remaining nervous trio is waiting with bated breath to see who will be getting axed in the next round. Have your say by visiting the website and registering your vote.
